TUESDAY 9.28

Are you wearing the correct undergarments with dresses, tops, skirts and slacks?  Seamless is best for most outfits because you don't want those unsightly panty lines showing, now do you?  How about that little bit of bulge hanging over your undies (muffin top) or the roll that shows when you bend over?  The best thing to get is Spanx!  They fix those problem areas by smoothing them out.  Yes, Spanx may be tight but my secret is to order one size up so that I can actually breathe.  This works well for me but may not be the best solution for everyone.  The underwear can tighten your tush, tank tops will suck in that stomach and control the muffin top, and the slips will pretty much do everything.  So what are you waiting for?  Fix those embarrassing problems now and buy your sleek classic Spanx at Rue La La!

FRIDAY 10.1

Take a break from the ho-hum or stressful work days and relax in the Caribbean.  Pick a serene package at Rue La La: Sugar Ridge at Antigua, Lighthouse Bay at Barbuda or the Windsong Resort at Turks and Caicos.  

I've been to Sugar Ridge so what I can tell you that it's a new resort that at the time needed to work out some kinks.  I went on a holiday weekend, so everything was extremely slow and lazy.  We were definitely treated poorly on a couple of occasions which the manager became aware of after our departure.  Did he believe us?  I'm not quite sure but it's possible that those kinks have been worked out due to the recent great reviews on Tripadvisor.  It will probably be a fabulous resort in a couple more years.  Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty resort but I don't think I will return.

SATURDAY 10.2

Check out the contemporary line, Catherine Malandrino and the runway line, Malandrino sales at Rue La La.  She mixes French couture with an American flair by using bold colors and textures, feminine fabrics, daring silhouettes and dramatic details.  Malandrino is a staple in the fashion world and worn by a bevy of celebrities.  I would be writing for days if I wrote all of them down!  Have fun shopping!
